Overview

LeafReel is an online service for creating AI-generated images and videos. This policy explains what information we process when you create an account, upload reference media, submit a generation request, purchase credits or a subscription, contact support, or otherwise use LeafReel.

Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Account information such as your name, email address, profile details, login method, and account identifiers.
• Creative inputs such as prompts, reference images, reference audio or video, model selections, and generation settings.
• Generation records such as task status, model responses, output files, file metadata, credit cost, and library activity.
• Usage and technical data such as pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, IP address, browser, device, operating system, language, diagnostic logs, and security events.
• Billing records such as plan, credit pack, currency, order status, invoice identifiers, subscription status, and credit transactions. Card details are processed by payment providers such as Stripe; LeafReel does not store full card numbers.
• Support communications including messages and files you send to support.
• Cookies and local storage needed for login, security, language and theme preferences, service operation, and any analytics enabled on the site.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• authenticate accounts and protect them from unauthorized use;
• process prompts and reference media through the model you select;
• deliver generation results and show task status in your library;
• calculate and deduct credits, process purchases, and manage subscriptions;
• diagnose failed or delayed tasks and attempt to restore credits where applicable;
• provide customer support and respond to billing, privacy, and legal requests;
• prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited content; and
• comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

AI Providers and Other Service Providers

LeafReel uses third parties to operate the service. Prompts, reference media, generation settings, and related technical data are sent to the AI model provider used for the generation request. We may also use providers for cloud hosting, file storage, authentication, email, analytics, fraud prevention, and payments.

These providers may process data in other countries and under their own privacy terms. We limit sharing to what is reasonably needed for the selected feature or operational purpose. We do not sell your personal information.

Content Visibility

LeafReel does not publish your uploads or generated media in a public showcase or use them in marketing without separate, explicit permission. However, generated files and uploads may be delivered through direct file URLs. Anyone who obtains such a URL may be able to access the file. Do not upload confidential or highly sensitive material, and do not share file URLs with people who should not have access.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload.

Retention and Deletion

Retention rules may vary by account, plan, and task. The applicable period or expiration status is shown in the service where available. Download files you need before any displayed expiration time. Technical deletion may not be immediate, and backup copies may take additional time to expire.

We retain account, billing, security, and support records as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Data sent to an AI or payment provider is also subject to that provider's retention rules.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing. To make a request, email support@leafreel.com. We may verify your identity before completing the request.

You can manage available account information in your settings and control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies required for authentication or security may prevent parts of LeafReel from working correctly.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Children

LeafReel is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot legally consent to the service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as LeafReel, its providers, or legal requirements change. The latest effective date appears at the top of this page. Material changes may also be announced in the service or by email where appropriate.
