OpenAI announced its discontinuation on March 24, 2026, closed the Sora app and website on April 26, 2026 and switched off the API on September 24, 2026. Is Sora 2 free?
No. Sora 2 is no longer offered by OpenAI, free or paid, so be careful with sites that still promise free or unlimited Sora 2. LeafReel has no free video either: video models use credits, and you can try the site with one free 1K image (watermarked).
