What is a tarot card?
Tarot cards are a deck of illustrated playing cards that first appeared in 15th-century Italy for card games and were later used for fortune-telling. A tarot deck usually has 78 cards, including 22 picture cards called the major arcana, each with symbolic figures, stars, moons and suns. This generator borrows that symbolic style for a personal portrait; it does not copy any existing deck.
